11/2010-Present Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village-Director of Nursing, successfully managed a nursing organization consisting of 114 nursing service staff at a 120
bed long term care and skilled nursing facility. Implemented retention initiatives including a nursing retention team, promoting reward and recognition, career paths/career development, improved selection and hiring process resulting in a 50% reduction in nursing overtime use and a measurable decline in staff turnover. Partnered with local nursing school administrators and nursing students during clinical rotations to enhance nursing recruitment program. Adhere

5/2010- 9/2010 Presbyterian Heart Group-Clinic Manager overseeing the management of resources, development and implementation for budget, monitoring and analyzing variances and planning for and making adjustments as needed. Direct supervision of 116 full time employees, coordination of 21 cardiologist’s schedules in the clinic, operating room, and hospital.

Transplant Coordinator for the New Mexico office requiring the ability to determine appropriate courses of action in complex situations that may not be addressed by existing policies, procedures.


1/2006-1/2010 University of New Mexico Hospital providing direct primary patient care in emergency medicine, outpatient surgery center, post operative care unit and the cardiac care unit.
