Health Education Experience (More than 2 years combined experience)
-1 year health education experience as a Milwaukee Public Ally, developed and delivered a nutrition and wellness
program to 300 children ages 4-12, served as a nutrition trainer for a group of Burmese immigrants, and facilitated
a workshop for diabetic adults. (More detail under Public Allies section.)
-2 months health education experience in Honduras, teaching older adults, children, and new mothers about nutrition, exercise,
safety, parasitic infection prevention, respiratory health, and pre-natal care (More detail under Global Medical Brigades.)
-3 months health education experience at the Humble Area Assistance Ministries as a case worker, to impoverished clients in the areas

-Engaged in 400 hours a of leadership and community development training on topics such as: diversity and anti-oppression, social factors of infant mortality rates, and other vital social justice topics. -Led 35 young adults in 1 hour of various aerobic exercise classes and wellness routines
-Delivered a nutrition workshop, dinner, and cooking demonstration to a group of diabetic adults from low-income areas
-Participated in a workshop to discuss causes of the high infant mortality rate of African American babies in Milwaukee
-Served with the Emerging Black Male Leaders Project, to empower young black men through learning from their Public Ally black male mentors
