POSITION DESIRED

The position most intriguing to me is one with a daily variety and challenge. I am searching for full time Monday through Friday placement. I most recently worked in centralized scheduling. I enjoyed the pace and variety it offered.

EXPERIENCE

Receptionist/ switchboard ranged from 56 companies with an average of 1-3 employees each to a regular size office. I was currently scheduling in a Centricity/EMR and Med Fusion system. We also worked out of Notify MD when the call volume was heaviest. A day will range from 45-75 patients a day per doctor. The upper percentage of my day was detail scheduling a variety of work comp appointments which needed to be worked in as a priority and also a physiatrist doing EMG, ultrasound appointments and botox injections as well. I not only have scheduled ortho, but also internist, physiatrist and family care office appointments. I have taken care of upset patients and gave support in our department with the transitional periods. I pride myself in finishing a task whether it be to come in early, or stay late to call reminders or reschedule a clinic.

BACKGROUND

The medical /customer service fields provide the variety and challenges I enjoy. I have good common sense, and work ethics. Some days are frustrating and so busy everyone is pushed to exhaustion but you feel good about yourself and what you have been able to offer. When the day is overwhelming to some I can still offer a smile.
