Dec 2011-Feb 2012 Experience in Endo, Short Stay, OR Nursing, and Pacu 240 Hours *Assisted with getting Ptʼs prepared for surgery and recovering them post-op. Experienced the OR room opening sterile packages and documentation. Charting, Med passes, injections and IVʼs. Pt comfort and care. Transcribing Orders and communicating with team members.

Dec 2011 40 hours. Clinical rotation that focused on pt care in an acute setting. Focused on pt recovery with the use of meds, diet and physical therapy. Pt rotated through every couple of days so a constant flux of new ptʼs and the ability to be flexible, take report and go. Good assesment skills were neccesary to recognize any post op problems or complications.
