EXPERIENCE

(Feb 2008 – Present) Executive Management Assistant, Naval Medical Center San Diego
• Responsible for tracking and the management of 600 active duty and civilian personnel: fitness reports and evaluations, officer and enlisted correspondence, clinic management activities and coordination of personal in twelve branch clinics over a 150-mile radius.
• Effectively provided support to the director, senior medical officer, senior nurse officer, medical administrative officer and the contract management assistant by developing and tracking spread sheets which served as a guide for process improvement within the directorate.
• Responsible for the administration, coordination, and implementation of the pay incentive awards program for all medical staff through all 11 branch clinics.
• Developed and maintained a database for all inbound and outbound personnel, which was adopted by the Senior Enlisted Leader to assist in making staffing decisions, resulting in 100% manning.
• Created and maintained the Primary Care Manager (PCM) and Point of Care (POC) Continuity Metrics database that is utilized by the Directorate for Branch Clinics Command Management Team (CMT) for analyzing continuity of care throughout the 9 branch clinics.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team that tracked, contacted and appointed over 1600 beneficiaries at Naval Medical Center San Diego’s Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures.
• Appointed as the personal assistant to the Directorate Medical Administration Officer and tracked projects such as the Medical Home Staff Satisfaction survey; active duty clinic appointed line access; clinic manager rosters; and recorded minutes of various meetings, including the Template Manager’s group meetings and the Medical Administrative Officer meetings.
• Directed the Naval Training Center nursing staff in the evidenced based project titled “Evaluation of Two Nurse-Run Project” which helped to provide health education to 75 patients. Developed tracking, provider templates and appointment systems that significantly reduced backlog to 100 patients; this resulted in 100% compliance with the Command’s goals.
