During my clinical rotation I re-demonstrated my knowledge and gained experience of working in a clinical lab, as well as doing almost everything in the lab. I have accessioned cases, use of cryostat, labeled slides, set up for gross cut, labeled blocks, processed, embedded small biopsy specimens and autopsy specimens, section, H&E stain and cover slip, 6 months experience special stains, machine maintenance (Leica2145, Ventana, and Tissue-Tek), turn in slides, and file blocks.

Frozen lab, OPC, 7 months Immunohistochemistry (BenchmarkXT), Special stains (Ventana), Embedding, and Sign-out. Assisting with paperwork for quality control, floating in all areas where needed, and machine maintenance.
