Currently work as an IV infusion nurse under the Rheumatology specialist of and Orthopedics practice. Was originally brought onto staff at the practice to assist an orthopedic surgeon with their patients¡¦ wound care. Then transitioned to a different location as their IV infusion nurse. Am responsible for initiating and verifying insurance authorization prior to procedures, verifying insurance benefits, and actual administering IV infusions procedures to patients under the supervision of the physician.

Worked as a contracted clinical lab specialist to a clinic in High Point, NC currently. Job duties trough BioTek Labs have included administering Allergy IgE topical airborne testing through a patented system along with phlebotomy services to obtain blood samples for food/chemical/mold panel performed offsite. Was trained in the IgE antigen immunotherapy constructing. Have been preparing titrated immunotherapy that patients then take home with them and perform self-injections once taught how to self-administer in the office. Once offsite lab prepares the formula instructions based off the test results from the test administered here in the office then have been mixing under the supervision of a physician the patients personalized immunotherapy.

Worked as a Charge Nurse in the Health Care Unit at Well-Spring. Held the role of Charge Nurse in the Skilled Care Unit fulltime from April of 2012 until leaving in July 2013. Have detailed experience with end of life care and ensuring that both I and the staff I assist and supervise continued in providing care that exceeded the needs of the residents and those they care about. Was an active team member in Care Plan meetings, medication administration, varying skilled care levels, entering and reviewing physician orders, and assisting in fulfilling MDS assessments. From March 2013 until July 2013worked in a quality assurance position in which aside from patient care the primary focus was auditing the new Electronic Medical Record System. Am skilled in learning how to run customized reports and in preparing presentations to supply valid reasoning to aid in decision making for proceeding into the live electronic environment. Am knowledgeable in computer and various Information Technology skills and still am able to provide a personal touch into the lives of those I interact with daily.
