The transition from frame to frameless SRS through the commissioning of a Novalis TX, Exactrac and IPLAN has resulted in:

The departments IGRT capabilities were increased by the commissioning of Varian OBI systems resulting in:
Improved treatment accuracy and reduced CTV-PTV margins
Increased numbers of patients receiving IGRT
Performing external dosimetry audits for other departments has ensured the accuracy of their patient pathway from CT to treatment.
The training of junior members of staff in new procedures within the department has increased their knowledge and skillset whilst freeing up more senior members of staff to work on pushing the department forward.
